Location

The main access routes to Alhama and to the Espuña mountain range, from Murcia, are via the E-15 Mediterranean road which connects this area with Murcia and Lorca, cities situated respectively 37 and 34 Km. away, and with Andalucía and Levante.

From Cartagena, via the MU-602 road it is a distance of 51 Km. and from Mazarrón, via the Regional MU-603 road, 35 Km.

The northeastern area is accessed from Alhama via the C-3.315 road. This route, which borders the eastern side of the Espuña mountain range and separates it from the Ravines of Gebas, registered as Protected Natural Space, takes us directly to Pliego and Mula, passing on the way, respectively 7 and 14 Km. from the town centre, the Gebas country house and the El Berro district.

There is a daily rail link to Barcelona via the TALGO which goes as far as Lorca and the nearest airport is 60 Km. away in San Javier, with Alicante airport 90 Km. away.
